Coaches
I started swimming at age 5 for Springdale Swim Team and swam there every summer through age 18 (I still have some records there!). I started swimming year-round at age 7 for Mariner Swim Club and switched to NBAC at age 12, where I swam until I graduated high school. I swam at Virginia Tech in college where I was the Atlantic 10 Conference champion in the 1650 Freestyle in 1999. After college I moved to Boulder, Colorado where I coached for 10 years at all levels – Summer League, Club Team, High School, and Masters. I also swam and competed in Masters Swimming during my time in Colorado. I have a Master's Degree in Education from University of Colorado and taught elementary school for 3 years. As a coach I am very focused on specific technique instruction and developing efficiency. I absolutely love the sport of swimming and I am excited to share my knowledge!
Hi, my name is Colby Kaminsky and I am a rising junior at Calvert Hall where I am a member of the varsity swimming and water polo teams. I have swum year-round for 4 years with CGA and with Summer Hill since I was 9. I’m excited to be back for my second season coaching and looking forward to another great season.
Hi, my name is Sal Anello and I am a rising senior at Loyola blakefield. I am on varsity swimming and water polo and have swum year round for LBA since 8th grade. I’ve been summer swimming since I was 9 years old and I am so excited for my first year of coaching this summer.
Hi my name is Lauren Bradley and I am a rising junior at The Park School of Baltimore. I have been a member of the Summer Hill Stingrays for 10 years. My favorite stroke is backstroke and something I love about the Stingrays is Fun Fridays and all of the activities we do together as a team. I’m really looking forward to being an Assistant Junior Coach this summer! I am eager to help younger swimmers improve their skills, have fun, and feel connected to this great community.
Two summers ago our family joined Summer Hill and I became a Stingray! I started swimming competitively for North Baltimore Aquatic Club (NBAC) at the age of 10. Currently, I attend NDP where I am on the varsity swim team and will begin my sophomore year in the fall. I am excited to share my love of the sport with the team!
